This Privacy Policy describes how Kindryn (the “Service”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Service. By using Kindryn you consent to the practices described here.

  • Account information. Name, email address, password (hashed), profile picture, biography, and similar profile details.
  • Community content. Posts, comments, messages, course progress, event RSVPs, and other content you create within the Service.
  • Payment information. Billing address and payment method details (processed and stored by our third-party payment processor; the operator does not store full card numbers).
  • Communications. Support requests, feedback, and emails you send to the operator.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data. Pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs, and similar analytics signals.
  • Device data. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Used for authentication, preference storage, and (where applicable) analytics. You can control cookies through your browser.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.

  • Send transactional email (account, billing, calendar invites, notifications).

  • Other community members. Information you post to a community space is visible to other members of that space according to its access rules.

Third-party vendors that help operate the Service, including payment processors (Stripe), email delivery, video infrastructure (LiveKit), object storage (e.g., MinIO/S3), and search (Meilisearch). These vendors are contractually limited to using your data only as needed to provide their services.
  • Community operators. If you join a community, the community operator (admins) can see your profile and activity within that community.
  • Legal compliance. When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the operator, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. If the operator is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Soft-deleted records may be retained for a reasonable recovery window before permanent deletion.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent or object to processing.
