Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-15
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of Kindryn (the “Service”) and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to this AUP.
1. Prohibited Content and Monetization
You may not create, upload, distribute, sell, advertise, link to, or otherwise monetize any of the following content categories on the Service, including (without limitation) via paid memberships, courses, downloadable products, coaching sessions, live events, tips, donations, or affiliate revenue:
1.1 Adult Content and Services
Content that contains nudity, sexually explicit acts, or simulated sexual conduct, including but not limited to:
- Subscriber-only nude or sexually explicit images, videos, or audio.
- Adult-oriented live chat, cam shows, or interactive sexual services.
- Sexually explicit fiction, fan art, or other media.
- Escort, prostitution, or sex-work-adjacent services.
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way (this is also separately prohibited under applicable law and may be reported to authorities).
1.2 Intellectual Property or Proprietary Rights Infringement
Content that infringes a third party’s copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, right of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary right, including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted music, films, television, books, software, fonts, or course materials.
- Leaked or pirated content (e.g., pre-release albums, ripped streaming-service catalogs, cracked software).
- Use of trademarks, brand names, or logos you are not authorized to use.
- Content that circumvents technical protection measures or digital rights management.
- Resale or redistribution of paid content licensed to you for personal use only.
Rights holders may submit takedown notices through the contact channel listed at the bottom of this page. We comply with applicable copyright takedown procedures (e.g., the DMCA in the United States) and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
1.3 Violent Extremism and Hate Speech
Content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence or hate speech toward any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, immigration status, age, or any other immutable or protected characteristic, including but not limited to:
- Terrorist content, recruitment, or fundraising.
- Glorification of mass-violence events, perpetrators, or attacks.
- Calls to violence against protected groups or specific individuals.
- Dehumanizing slurs, propaganda, or imagery targeting protected groups.
- Symbols or materials produced by designated terrorist organizations or recognized hate groups.
2. Other Prohibited Conduct
You also may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, deceptive trade practices, or illegal sale of regulated goods (firearms, controlled substances, etc.).
- Harass, threaten, dox, stalk, or otherwise harm other users, including coordinated inauthentic behavior or pile-on harassment.
- Distribute malware, viruses, exploit kits, phishing kits, or any other code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk except through documented APIs and only as permitted.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or any communication that violates applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR ePrivacy, etc.).
3. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result, in the operator’s sole reasonable judgment, in any of the following actions:
- Removal of the offending content.
- Immediate suspension or termination of the offending account.
- Forfeiture of pending payouts to the offending account.
- Refund or chargeback assistance to affected purchasers, deducted from the offending account’s balance.
- Reporting to law enforcement, payment processors, hosting providers, or rights holders as required by law or contract.
4. Two-Strike Policy
We operate a strict two-strike policy at the community level.
- First confirmed violation: the offending content is removed and the community owner receives a written warning explaining the violation and the second-strike consequence.
- Second confirmed violation: the entire community is permanently suspended. All members lose access. The community owner may appeal the suspension by contacting Kindryn support, but reinstatement is granted at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed.
A “confirmed violation” means either (a) the moderation team upheld a report against the community’s content, or (b) the community owner did not respond to a routed report within the deadline and the content was automatically removed. Reports that the moderation team dismissed or that the community owner successfully appealed do not count as strikes.
Strikes are tracked per community, not per individual content item. A community owner who accrues a single strike across two pieces of content from different categories (e.g. one IP-infringement strike and one adult-content strike) is at the second-strike threshold and will be suspended on the next confirmed violation regardless of category.
5. Reporting Violations
To report content that violates this AUP, contact the operator of this Kindryn instance through the contact channel posted on the homepage or in your account settings. Where applicable, include the URL of the content, a description of the violation, and any supporting evidence. Reports made in good faith are treated confidentially to the extent possible.
6. Changes
This AUP may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
